You Can’t be Serious!!

Here’s two more reasons US membership in the UN should be reconsidered.

The chairmanship of the Commission on Sustainable Development, (economic development and the environment) was recently bestowed upon Zimbabwe. Although Zimbabwe used to be “breadbasket of Africa”, it is now in the middle of tremendous food shortages. Their inflation rate, a current highest record holder at 2,200%. Their economy last year contracted 5% last year, while Africa as whole grew by 5%.

And then…..who is given a vice chairmanship of the Disarmament Commission…yep….Iran. The same Iran that is currently defying U.N. sanctions over its nuclear program. To add insult to injury, Syria was made rapportuer on this commission. Both are on a list of countries that the US indicates are sponsoring worldwide terrorism.

Let’s redeploy our diplomats out of the UN.
